On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNUHCM, held the 1st Green Living Day at Lobby B4 and Room B4.01 – Thu Duc Campus. The event aimed to raise student awareness about green lifestyles, sustainable development, and sustainable fashion in the context of the growing prevalence of fast fashion.
The program featured several engaging activities: the handover ceremony of waste sorting bins sponsored by the Thien Tam Foundation; a display area for the "Green Compass Handbook" and eco-friendly products; a series of interactive challenges on sustainable development; and an exhibition with four green living zones reflecting students' current realities, actions, and commitments. A highlight was the talkshow "What do you wear to save the planet?" featuring two inspirational guest speakers.
This event not only provided opportunities to practice teamwork and creative problem-solving but also served as a concrete step toward the "Green University" program and national Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
