The issue of sovereignty over the Paracel and Spratly archipelagos has recently become extremely urgent and important; the sea and islands of our homeland are always an inseparable part of the blood and flesh in the consciousness of every Vietnamese citizen. Continuing the heroic historical pages of our ancestors, the entire Vietnamese nation is determined to fight, protect, and preserve the sacred territory of the Fatherland. To contribute to affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the two archipelagos of Paracel and Spratly, the External Information Service Department and the Vietnam Archives Magazine coordinated with the Information and Communications Publishing House to publish the book “Vietnam's Sovereignty over the Paracel and Spratly Archipelagos: The Power of Archival Documents”. The book contains valuable archival documents that serve as a historical basis to prove Vietnam's sovereignty over the Paracel and Spratly archipelagos, as well as dossiers on Vietnam's sovereignty over these two archipelagos from historical and legal perspectives.
