In April, the Library of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNUHCM organized a document exhibition (from April 16 to April 21, 2018) under the theme “President Ho Chi Minh and the Cause of National Reunification”, along with the 2018 Library Users’ Conference (April 18, 2018) held at the Reading Room, Linh Trung Campus, Thu Duc.

The program attracted significant interest and participation from a large number of library users, including undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty members, and staff currently studying, working, and teaching at the University, and especially representatives from member libraries within the VNUHCM Library System.
The event provided an opportunity for the Library’s Board of Directors to better understand users’ needs, address their inquiries, and receive valuable feedback during their use of library services.

Through simple and engaging examples, M.A. Nguyen Phuong Duy – Lecturer of the Faculty of Library and Information Science – delivered an interactive sharing session and addressed questions related to the topic “Job Interview Skills.” The session helped students build greater confidence and gain essential experience to better prepare for successful job interviews.

Moreover, in addition to receiving lucky gifts, participating students enjoyed a variety of impressive performances by library staff, interns from the College of Culture and Arts, Trung Kien (Faculty of Anthropology), and especially MC–singer Trong Duc, an alumnus who previously completed his internship at the University Library.

In addition, the Library presented certificates of merit and meaningful gifts to the “Top 10 Active Library Users” for the 2016–2017 academic year.
