Nanotechnology is the technology of manufacturing and controlling the properties of nanomaterials. Nanotechnology is the tsunami of contemporary engineering whose applications are gradually emerging, exploding, and will have a profound impact on human social life. The core of nanotechnology revolves around methods of processing nanomaterials, investigating chemical, physical, mechanical, optical, electrical, and magnetic properties, and seeking applications for these materials. Using simple language, this book clarifies the origin and significance of nanotechnology. It also describes the creativity of scientists in simulating nature to create nanomaterials with potential applications ranging from miniaturizing electronic components to cancer therapy. After a quarter of a century of research and development, will nanomaterials be the "miracle" material of the 21st century or a material full of risks? In this edition, this will be investigated and analyzed in a new chapter on the current status of carbon nanotube applications and nanotoxicology. The book is intended for all readers, from scientists, students, and pupils to those who simply want to find an easy-to-read science book to understand the world of nanotechnology; they can all find useful knowledge in "Nanotechnology". We cordially introduce it to readers! |
