Announcement of the student exchange program with Kyushu University, Japan for the Spring 2027 semester

Dear faculties,

The University announces to the faculties information regarding the student exchange program with Kyushu University, Japan for the Spring 2027 semester, as follows:

1. Timeline (tentative)
- Spring semester: April 2027 - September 2027;
- Fall semester: October 2027 - March 2028;
- 01 academic year: April 2027 - March 2028.
- Students can choose to participate for 01 academic year or 01 semester.
2. Eligibility
- Students from the second year onwards, who have not graduated at the time of participating in the program;
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0 or higher;
- JLPT N1 proficiency or higher if enrolling in the Japanese-taught program, or IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 79 proficiency or higher if enrolling in the English-taught program.
3. Costs
Students are exempted from tuition fees and are responsible for all other expenses.
4. Number of participants
Each faculty may nominate a maximum of 03 students.
5. Academic program
- English-taught program:
+ Academic exchange at the faculties of: Engineering, Agriculture, and Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation;
+ “Japan in Today’s World” (JTW) program: Learning about contemporary Japanese culture, society, and economy.
- Japanese-taught program:
+ Academic exchange at the faculties of: Literature, Education, Law, Economics, Science, Design.
6. Application documents
- Information form (according to the template);
- Transcript (in English) with a certificate of grade calculation if the transcript does not reflect the 4.0 scale;
- Recommendation letter from the faculty (in English or Japanese);
- Copy of passport;
- Study plan (in Vietnamese or English);
- Language proficiency certificate.

Additionally, after being nominated by the University, students are required to fill in other information such as their study plan and relevant essays as requested on the online registration portal.

The University requests that faculties widely announce this program so that interested students can register to participate.
