Professor Tran Huu Tuoc was an ENT (ear, nose, and throat) specialist, the founder and developer of the ENT sector in Vietnam. He was a Vietnamese intellectual with fervent patriotism and a burning desire to contribute.

After graduating from the Paris School of Medicine, he returned to serve his homeland. He held many important roles: Staying with the Capital Regiment to treat wounded soldiers, participating in teaching at the Medical University in the war zone, Head of the ENT Department and Director of Bach Mai Hospital, and Director of the ENT Institute.

With profound intellect, love for patients, and skilled, precise hands, he saved many patients suffering from life-threatening diseases. He conducted many significant research projects contributing to the development of Vietnamese medicine.

The book “Tran Huu Tuoc – A shining example of talent and medical ethics” sketches the life of a patriotically fervent Vietnamese person, an exemplary intellectual of both talent and virtue who dedicated his entire life to the revolution, the fatherland, and the people.

We would like to respectfully introduce this to readers!
