Extremely Cruel, Extremely Loving is written by a Jewish mother born and raised in Shanghai who raised her children to become millionaires. The Jewish people are a mysterious nation that has produced many great philosophers and successful business people all over the world. Although the population is small, it holds tremendous potential power and may even control the lifeline of the whole world. Integrating the educational methods of China and the Jewish people, Sara believes: "Those who spoil their children will one day have to bandage their wounds.
