Dear Faculties,
In accordance with Notice No. 613/TB-XHNV-CTSV dated April 9, 2025 on registration for the “Sustainability Impact Challenge (SIC) 2025” Program hosted by RMIT University, the Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs respectfully requests that each Faculty nominate 1 student to participate and fill in the nominated student information at the link https://forms.gle/6BMhj5Eqr1M9JxYKA before 5:00 p.m. on April 14, 2025. Specific information about the program is as follows:
1. General information
SIC is an academic and practical competition, hosted by RMIT University Vietnam, in coordination with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM, International University, VNU-HCM, and Vietnam-Germany University. When participating in the program, students will experience the following contents:
- Participate in 01 training course to equip knowledge and skills to analyze, evaluate and solve sustainable development challenges;
- Participate in a field trip to universities and enterprises that are partners of the program;
- Receive advice and support from experts in many different fields to implement sustainable development projects;
- 04 winning teams have the opportunity to connect and work with enterprises that are partners of the program in Vietnam to implement projects from the competition;
- Number of students prioritized to attend by the School: 30 students (of which, each faculty nominates 1 student*).
(*) 30 nominated students will not have to go through the selection round of the Organizing Committee. Other students who want to participate can register at the link https://bit.ly/43O5e9M.
2. Registration conditions
- 3rd and 4th year full-time students currently studying at the School;
- Have good communication and presentation skills in English;
- Have the ability to research and work effectively in groups;
- Have basic understanding of sustainable development goals and have career orientation related to these fields;
- Have orientation to work in the field of sustainable development;
- Willing to join the network of students taking action for sustainable development organized by the School;
- Commit to fully participate in the program's activities;
- Commit to long-term support for the project (for the winning team) and spread the values of sustainable development.

Realizing that this is a meaningful activity to help students practice the necessary knowledge and skills on sustainable development, the Student Affairs Department respectfully requests that your organization support the dissemination of information to students and nominate students to participate on time so that the program can take place effectively.
