Opening of the training course "Guidelines for designing, developing, measuring, and assessing program learning outcomes"

On the morning of April 21, 2025, the Quality Assurance Office and the Academic Affairs Office coordinated to organize the first training session within the framework of the thematic training course "Guidelines for designing, developing, measuring, and assessing program learning outcomes". This is one of the four training sessions in the first phase, dedicated to faculty group 1.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Pham Tan Ha – Vice President of the University – highly appreciated the close coordination between the two functional offices in organizing the training course. Dr. Pham Tan Ha expressed his expectation that the training course would achieve practical effectiveness, helping faculties have clear orientations and methods in designing, developing, measuring, and assessing program learning outcomes, thereby contributing to improving the quality of education as well as complying with the regulations of Circular No. 08/2021/TT-BGDĐT dated March 18, 2021, and Circular No. 17/2021/TT-BGDĐT dated June 22, 2021, of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The training program was honored to have the presence of Dr. Cao Thi Chau Thuy – Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Dr. Hoang Mai Khanh – Director of the Quality Assurance Office, along with the full participation of deans, vice deans in charge of academic affairs, and heads of departments belonging to faculty group 1 according to the registered list.

The content of the first phase of training focused on issues: developing learning outcomes, determining Performance Indicators (PI) for training programs, and methods for measuring and assessing learning outcomes. The atmosphere of the training session was lively with many exchanges and practical discussions, demonstrating the receptive spirit and high sense of responsibility of the management and teaching staff in improving the University's training quality.

The subsequent training sessions of the first phase will be held on the afternoons of April 21 and April 24, 2025, for faculty groups 2, 3, and 4, with the goal of expanding and synchronizing the development and assessment of learning outcomes throughout the University.
