Announcement of the scholarship project "For female students overcoming difficulties and studying well" of the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Intellectual Women

Dear: Faculty Deans,
In order to create conditions and support the study of female students with difficult circumstances, the School has implemented the scholarship project "For female students overcoming difficulties and studying well" of the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Female Intellectuals, sponsored by Saigon Children's Charity CIO (UK), specifically as follows:
1. Number of scholarships
Total: 15 scholarships, including:
- 09 scholarships for new students of the 2025 - 2026 course;
- 03 scholarships for students of the 2024 - 2025 course;
- 03 scholarships for students of the 2023 - 2024 course.
2. Scholarship value and benefits
- Scholarship value: 13,983,000 VND/scholarship/school year, supported for two semesters:
+ Semester 1: 8,000,000 VND;
+ Semester 2: 5,983,000 VND.
- Benefits: students can participate in soft skills training, camps, social activities.
3. Scholarship support period
Students will receive the scholarship from the time of successful scholarship registration until the last year of the course, provided that students maintain good academic results and fully comply with the scholarship regulations.
4. Selection criteria
- Being a female student studying at the University in a full-time undergraduate program;
- Having a difficult family situation (household with an average monthly income per capita of less than 3,000,000 VND);
- Having good academic ability (cumulative score of 7.0 or higher on a 10-point scale and 3.0 or higher on a 4-point scale); for first-year students, academic results are based on grade 12 transcripts;
- Having determination to pursue studies to the end;
- Not concurrently receiving any other scholarship with similar support period and scholarship value during the scholarship period of the project "For female students overcoming difficulties and studying well".
5. Scholarship regulations
- Attending the annual meeting: students are required to attend two annual meetings (semester 1 from October 22 to November 15; semester 2 from January 22 to February 28). If for a valid reason they cannot attend, students need to send an email, send a text message or send a zalo message, call the project staff to ask for permission and explain the specific reason.
- Submitting a complete and timely transcript: students must submit a completed transcript of semester 1 before June 30 and a completed transcript of semester 2 before December 30; the transcript must have the School's confirmation stamp.
* Note: If the student does not receive the transcript by the deadline, the student must contact the project staff in charge to state the reason and request an extension.
- Participate in soft skills training: students are required to participate in at least one (01) soft skills training topic during the school year; in addition, students are encouraged to participate in other capacity building activities organized by the project to expand their social network and improve their skills; in case the student cannot arrange the time to participate, they must notify the project staff in charge.
- Students must ensure that their academic results are at a good or excellent level or higher.
6. Criteria for stopping support
- Criteria for stopping partial support: students who violate one of the regulations stated above for the first time will be warned; students who violate for the second time will not receive a scholarship for that semester.
- Criteria for stopping full support:
+ Students who do not maintain good or excellent academic results for two (02) consecutive semesters;
+ Students who do not comply with the project regulations for two (02) consecutive times;
+ Students who completely disconnect from the project;
+ Students who receive other similar scholarship funding;
+ Transfer students;
+ The student's family has improved their living conditions and can cover their own tuition fees.
7. Application documents
- A recent portrait photo taken within the last 6 months (name the photo according to the syntax: CD - Student ID - Full Name - University Name);
- A photo file of the entire house (named according to the syntax: HCGĐ - NC - Student ID - Full Name - University Name);
- A photo file of the living room space (named according to the syntax: HCGĐ - PK - Student ID - Full Name - University Name);
- A file of the kitchen space (named according to the syntax: HCGĐ – PB – Student code – Full name – University name);
- A file of the poor/near-poor household book/poor household confirmation paper (if any, name according to the syntax: GXN – Student code – Full name – University name);
- A file of the most recent school year transcript with the school’s confirmation stamp (named according to the syntax: KQHT – Student code – Full name – University name).
8. Registration method

- Registration deadline: before 17:00 on September 18, 2025 (Thursday);
The school will pre-select and nominate students who meet the criteria for the project; the project will interview all nominated students to select the final list of scholarship recipients.
