Announcement of student and graduate student exchange program with Kyungdong University, Korea, spring semester 2026
Dear Faculties,
The School would like to inform the faculties about the student and graduate exchange program with Kyungdong University, Korea for the spring semester of 2026, as follows:
1. Application conditions
- 2nd and 3rd year students or graduate students who have completed 02 semesters or more at the School, not graduated at the time of joining the program;
- Have good academic performance or higher and have a cumulative score of 2.71/3.0;
- Have an IELTS certificate of 5.5, TOEFL iBT 71 or New TEPS 327 or higher if choosing an English-taught program and a TOPIK certificate of 4 or higher if choosing an Korean-taught program.
2. Majors
- For undergraduates, majors taught in English include: International Business Administration, Intelligent Computing, International Hotel Management, Artificial Intelligence, Social Media and Film Production, and Integrated Korean Business. The Integrated Korean Business major requires an additional TOPIK 4 certificate or higher.
- For masters, majors taught in English include: Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, International Business Administration, International Tourism and Hotel Management.
3. Duration (expected)
01 semester from February 2026 to August 2026.
4. Costs
Candidates are exempt from tuition fees and must pay for other expenses themselves.
5. Quantity
There are expected to be 05 places for both levels. Each faculty nominates a maximum of 02 candidates (including undergraduates and graduate students).
6. Application documents
- Document list 01:
+ ID photo (3.5cmx4.5cm, white background);
+ Application form (according to form);
+ Student code of conduct form (according to form);
+ Financial commitment form (according to form);
+ Letter of consent to provide educational information (according to form);
+ Consent to collect personal information (according to form);
+ Passport copy (in color);
+ Foreign language certificate;
+ English transcript (original in English).
- Document list 02:
+ Student/graduate student confirmation (consularized);
+ Letter of recommendation from the Dean;
+ English transcript (consularized). For graduate students, a university diploma (consularized) is required;
+ Bank statement within 6 months and Bank balance confirmation (with an amount of 6,500 USD or more and must be in the name of the applicant or parent);
+ Tuberculosis test results (according to the hospital designated by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam).
7. Admission Process
- Round 1: The school sends the candidate's application documents in List 01 to Kyungdong University for the preliminary selection process. Kyungdong University will send a temporary admission letter to qualified candidates;
- Round 2: The school sends the candidate's application documents in List 02 to Kyungdong University to complete the official admission letter for the candidate.
8. Application form
- Faculties please send nomination letter and application documents in List 01 (including hard copy and soft copy) to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Scientific Management (Room B.005), email: era@hcmussh.edu.vn before 16:00, November 10, 2025 (Monday) to serve the nomination work of the School and the preliminary round of Kyungdong University;
- Candidates who meet the conditions in Round 1 please send documents in List 02 (including hard copy and soft copy) to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Scientific Management (Room B.005), email: era@hcmussh.edu.vn before 16:00, December 11, 2025 (Thursday) to receive the official admission letter.
