AKS Scholarship Program Announcement for Graduate Students and Postgraduate Students in the Academic Year 2025 - 2026
The University informs the units of the AKS Scholarship Program for Graduate Students and Postgraduate Students for the 2025-2026 academic year of the Central Academy of Korean Studies as follows:
1. Selection conditions
- Program for Korean Studies graduate students, postgraduate students with a thesis / research dissertation on Korea. Priority scholarship for staff, faculty who are studying, working and have outstanding achievements in the Department of Korean Studies or who have participated in the Focus University Building Project on Korean Studies in Vietnam (minimum 08 hours / week);
The applicant is not a Korean citizen and must be fluent in Korean.
2. Number of Scholarships
03 places for undergraduate students and 01 places for postgraduate students.
3. Scholarship Value
- Undergraduate students: 1,200,000 Won/academic year;
- Student Rescue: 1,500,000 Won/academic year.
- Note: Applicants may apply for a scholarship in the following year if they meet the eligibility of the program.
4. Registration Profile
- Application for registration (by form);
- 1 letter of nomination of the teacher;
- Commitment to participate in the activities of AKS (according to the model);
- The most recent academic year scoreboard or admission document for newly admitted students;
Korean language certificate from TOPIK 4 or above (if available).
