VNU350 Program in 2026: KHXH&NV University recruits 22 outstanding young scientists and leading scientists

In order to attract and develop high-quality scientific personnel serving teaching and research activities, National University of Ho Chi Minh City (HQM-HCM) has just issued the Recruitment Notice for outstanding young scientists and leading scientists to work at HQM-HCM under the VNU350 Program – 2026. Accordingly, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, HQG-HCM plans to recruit 22 lecturers in many fields of social sciences and humanities, in order to supplement and develop the teaching and research team to meet the development requirements of the School in the new phase.
Specifically, employment positions include: German Language (01 indicator), Religious Studies (01), Educational Studies (01), Psychology (02), Linguistics (02), Asian Studies (01), Korean Studies (01), History (01), Philosophy (02), Journalism and Communication (02), Resource and Environmental Management (01), Tourism (01), Educational Psychology (02), Educational Management (01), Cultural Chemistry (02) and Human Resources Management (01). Recruitment positions are aimed at highly qualified scientists, independent research and teaching capabilities, oriented towards long-term academic development at the School as well as within the National University of Ho Chi Minh City system.

1. General conditions, standards
Applicants enrolled in the Program to attract and recruit outstanding young scientists and leading scientists of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City (VNU350 Program – 2026) must meet the general conditions stipulated by the HQ-HCM, have good political qualities, good ethics, and be healthy to carry out teaching and scientific research tasks.
Applicants need to have professional qualifications appropriate to the recruitment position; have the ability of scientific research, the ability to publish scientific works domestically and internationally; have the ability to participate in the construction, organization of the implementation of training programs, guidance of postgraduate students, postgraduate students and participate in domestic and international scientific cooperation activities as required by the employing unit.
2. Specific conditions, standards
Depending on each recruitment position, the applicant must meet the corresponding professional standards according to the recruitment notice of the HQ-HCM. Among them, the majority of positions requiring a PhD degree or above belong to the field of training appropriate to the recruitment industry; some positions require the title of Associate Professor in the respective field of expertise.
Applicants need to have scientific research competence expressed through scientific publications, the ability to master or participate in research topics of the levels, and the ability to participate in the construction of training programs, teaching organizations and guidance of higher education students, postgraduate students in the field of specialization.

Scientists admitted under the VNU350 Program work in the dynamic academic environment of the Ho Chi Minh City National University system, facilitated to participate in scientific research, teaching and academic cooperation activities domestically and internationally.
HQG-HCM also has policies to support the development of scientific research activities, support the construction and development of research groups, facilitate access to scientific and technological resources and participate in research programs and scientific projects in the HQG-HCM system.
