Notice on submission of application for university admission in 2026 (For foreign candidates applying to study Vietnamese Studies)

         The Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City hereby notifies all foreign students who wish to apply for university admission in the Vietnamese Studies major in 2026 to submit their application as follows:

1. Application Documents: Each candidate must submit 02 sets of documents, each including:

1. Registration form for foreigners studying in Vietnam (according to the template provided by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, download form number 1 at https://hcmussh.edu.vn/vnh/bm
2. Certified copy of High School Diploma (if your High School Diploma is not in English, a notarized translation into Vietnamese is required)
3. Certified copy of the transcript (academic record) for all subjects during the 3 years of high school.
4. Certified copy of passport – cover page, page with photo and full name, and the visa page.
5. Certified copy of Vietnamese Language Certificate from level 3/6 (B1) or higher, issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City.
6. Health certificate issued by a competent medical facility in the home country or by a provincial/city-level medical facility in Vietnam.
7. 03 photos of size 3cm * 4cm (clearly write full name and date of birth on the back)

In each set of documents, candidates must arrange all papers from number 1 to 7 in order, put them into a folder, and submit them at the office of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies. Candidates should note that they must affix photos fully on all forms that require photo attachment.

• Submission deadline: From 01/06/2026 to the end of 30/06/2026 (during office hours from Monday to Friday).

Each candidate submits 02 sets of application documents, each set of application documents includes:

1. 1. Application form for foreigners studying in Vietnam (according to the form of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, download form number 1 at https://hcmussh.edu.vn/vnh/bm
   2. Certified copy of High School Diploma (if it is not in English, a notarized translation into Vietnamese is required)
   3. Certified copy of the transcript (report card) of all subjects for 3 years of high school.
   4. Copy of passport - cover page, page with photo, full name and visa page.
   5. Copy of Vietnamese Language Certificate issued by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (candidates can submit a certificate from level 3 (B1 level) or higher, valid for 02 years until the date of applying).
   6. Health certificate issued by a competent medical facility in the country or by a medical facility at the provincial/municipal level of Vietnam.
   7. 03 photos with size 3cm * 4cm (full name and date of birth written on the back)

In each set of documents, candidates arrange all documents from number 1 to number 9 in order, put them in a bag and submit them to the office of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies. Candidates must attach full photos to all forms that require attachment image.

• Application deadline: From June 1^st, 2026 to June 30^th, 2026 (during office hours from Monday to Friday).
