Announcement on the Student Exchange Program with Jeonbuk National University for the Fall Semester 2026

The University would like to inform all faculties about the Student Exchange Program with Jeonbuk National University for the Fall Semester 2026, with details as follows:

1. Eligibility Requirements

• Full-time students from the second year onward with an academic standing of Good or above;
• Students must hold a TOPIK Level 3 or above if enrolling in a Korean-taught program, or have English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or above if enrolling in an English-taught program;
• Students must commit not to graduate during the entire exchange period.

2. Expected Duration

• Fall semester: from August 2026 to January 2027;
• Spring semester: from January 2027 to June 2027;
• Students may choose to participate for one semester or two semesters.

3. Costs

• Students will be exempted from tuition fees during the exchange program and will be responsible for all other expenses;
• Jeonbuk National University will provide a scholarship of KRW 500,000 for exchange students.

4. Number of Nominees
Each faculty may nominate up to three students.

5. Academic Program
Students may take courses in Liberal Arts and specialized subjects offered by faculties such as Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Commerce, Agriculture and Life Sciences, Education, Social Sciences, Human Ecology, Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences, as well as Korean language courses.

6. Application Documents

• Online application form (to be completed after nomination by the University);
• Personal statement (in English);
• Study plan (in English);
• Certificate of student status (in English);
• Recommendation letter from the faculty (in English);
• Academic transcripts for all semesters (in English);
• Copy of passport;
• Passport-sized photo;
• Copy of language proficiency certificate.
