Within the framework of the Sustainability Impact Challenge 2026 (SIC), the University would like to inform the Faculties of the program and kindly request support in disseminating the information to students.
1. General Information
The Sustainability Impact Challenge (SIC) is an academic and practice-oriented competition hosted by RMIT Vietnam in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM; the International University, VNU-HCM; and the Vietnamese-German University.
By participating in the program, students will have the opportunity to:
- Attend a training course designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze, evaluate, and address sustainability challenges;
- Participate in study visits to partner universities and enterprises involved in the program;
- Receive mentoring and support from experts across various fields to develop and implement sustainability projects;
- Gain opportunities, as one of the four winning teams, to connect and collaborate with the program’s corporate partners in Vietnam to further implement their competition projects.
2. Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be second-year students or above currently enrolled at the University;
- Possess good English communication and presentation skills;
- Demonstrate effective research and teamwork abilities;
- Have a basic understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and career interests related to sustainability;
- Show a strong interest in pursuing a career in the field of sustainable development;
- Be willing to participate in the University's sustainability student network;
- Commit to participating fully in all program activities;
- Commit to the long-term implementation of the project (for winning teams) and contribute to promoting sustainability values within the community.
