Announcement on Programs Offered by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), India

Dear Faculties and Units,

The University would like to inform all faculties and units of the following programs offered by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), India.

1. Program for Students and Faculty Members

Triennial International Conference 2026 – Let Us Dream

  • Overview: The conference will bring together more than 50 speakers from over 10 countries, representatives from more than 25 higher education institutions, and over 50 community partners. Daily thematic sessions will focus on education, healthcare, and social issues.
  • Theme: Indigenous Intelligence, Global Impact – Resilient Global Communities for a Meaningful Humanity
  • Dates: 19–21 November 2026
  • Venue: Central Campus, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, India
  • Participation Fee: No registration fee. Participants are responsible for all other expenses.
  • Registration: Applicants may register directly at:

2. Programs for Students

a) 8th International Relations Model United Nations (IRMUN 8)

  • Overview: IRMUN 8 is a two-day Model United Nations conference that brings together young scholars to discuss global challenges through various committees, including the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Lok Sabha (House of the People of India), Continuous Crisis Committee (CCC), and International Press (IP). The conference provides an excellent platform for participants to develop lobbying, negotiation, and debating skills in a dynamic experiential environment.
  • Dates: 24–25 November 2026
  • Venue: Central Campus, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, India
  • Registration Fee: Early-bird registration for individual delegates ranges from INR 1,600 to INR 1,900. Accommodation options are available through the organizing committee.
  • Awards: Prize amounts range from INR 3,000 to INR 15,000.

b) India Gateway Program

Students who wish to participate in both IRMUN 8 and the Triennial International Conference – Let Us Dream as part of an academic study visit to India may apply for the India Gateway Program.

  • Program Fee: USD 650 per student (excluding international airfare).
  • The fee includes accommodation, meals, domestic transportation, and a specially designed academic and cultural immersion program at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru.
  • Participants are responsible for all other expenses.

3. Program for Faculty Members

International Staff Week 2026

  • Dates: 23–28 November 2026
  • Venue: Pune Lavasa Campus, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), India

Key Activities

  • Deliver workshops and lectures for undergraduate and postgraduate students in disciplines including Law, Management, Commerce, Data Science, Economics, Psychology, and Digital Humanities.
  • Participate in the International Fair to showcase and promote participants' home institutions.
  • Join collaborative workshops, academic networking sessions, and faculty-level professional meetings.
  • Experience cultural immersion activities, including field visits to Pune and Mumbai.
  • Take part in outdoor activities such as trekking, sports, and fitness facilities at the Lavasa Campus.

Financial Support

Selected participants will receive full support for accommodation, meals, and transportation from Pune or Mumbai Airport to the Lavasa Campus. Support will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis until available funding is exhausted. Participants are responsible for all other expenses.

  • Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority given to applications submitted before 30 September 2026.
