The University would like to inform all faculties about the Special Training Program on Global Sustainable Development organized by the Silk-Road Universities Network (SUN), as follows:
- Program Overview:
The Silk Road Climate Futures project was established to connect students and researchers from universities within the Silk-Road Universities Network (SUN) in order to develop a multinational and comparative perspective on past and future climate change and assess its impacts. - Benefits:
- Free participation;
- Opportunity to become a co-author of a scientific publication;
- Certificate of program completion;
- Practical experience accumulation.
- Eligibility:
Undergraduate students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates currently studying at SUN member universities are eligible to apply. Applicants from the following fields are especially encouraged: Climate Science, Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering, Data Science, Economics, Health/Medical Sciences, and related disciplines. - Application Procedure:
Interested applicants are requested to send an email directly to the project leader at: adam.fenech@cud.ac.ae (CC: secretariat@sun0822.org), including the following information:
- Full name;
- University;
- Study program;
- A brief statement explaining their interest in the project.
Applicants will subsequently receive further information regarding the project, training schedule, and next steps.
Faculties are kindly requested to widely disseminate this information so that interested students, staff members, and employees may register to participate. Interested individuals should apply directly following the program instructions and also complete the registration form at: Google Form for the University’s record of participant numbers.
