- Australia Awards Scholarships: Scholarships for excellent Vietnamese applicants to pursue full-time master's programs in Australia, commencing in Semester 1 (January) 2027. Priority areas of study for Vietnam's development include: agriculture-forestry-fishery, digital transformation, education, environment, climate change, energy, economic governance and development, gender equality, disability, health, regional stability, and human rights.
- Mekong-Australia Partnership (MAP) Scholarships: Australia Awards Scholarships under the Mekong-Australia Partnership (MAP) program support applicants from Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar to pursue Master by Research or Master by Coursework programs in key MAP areas including: Water Security, Climate Action, Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), Transnational Crime Prevention, Economic Resilience, and Sub-regional Integration.

2. Scholarship Benefits:
Australia Awards Scholarships provide full support for tuition and living expenses for the duration of the study, including: round-trip airfare, tuition fees, living stipend, health insurance, academic support, and an initial establishment allowance. Additionally, there is support for fieldwork for some programs, and the study duration may be shortened if prior credit recognition is granted.

3. Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a formal undergraduate degree.
- Have at least 24 months of relevant work experience in Vietnam as of April 30, 2026 (except for disadvantaged applicants).
- Not applying for a second master's degree (except for disadvantaged applicants choosing a different field).
- Declare all previous and current academic history, in Vietnam or elsewhere.
- Applicants must meet all the criteria outlined in the Scholarships Policy Handbook.

Note: Applicants can apply for the Australia Awards Scholarships and/or the MAP scholarships. Both programs use the same application process and shared online application portal.
