PREFACE

Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Studies for Foreigners is both a teaching content and a research subject for teaching staff of the Faculty of Vietnamese Language and Culture for Foreigners (Viet Nam National University, Hanoi) and the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language for Foreigners (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City).

Over the past few decades, many works have been published in the field of Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Studies for foreigners. The forty-four articles in this book are a continuation of those scientific works and represent the latest research results from the staff of the two faculties, as well as several professors and young scientists interested in this field of study.

On the occasion of this book's publication, we would like to thank the leadership of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Viet Nam National University, Hanoi) and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, and we also sincerely thank the Viet Nam National University, Hanoi Publishing House for creating favorable conditions for the book to be released to readers soon.
