VNS signs Memorandum of Understanding with Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Palacký University Olomouc (Czech Republic)

On the morning of August 5, 2026, at the Saigon Campus, the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Palacký University Olomouc (Czech Republic) to visit, exchange, and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
Representatives from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Palacký University Olomouc included: Dr. Filip Krau – Director of the Sinophone Research Center, and Dr. Thi Thu Mai Krausová – Head of Vietnamese Studies. Welcoming the delegation were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Ngoc Diep – Dean of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong and Dr. Nguyen Huynh Lam – Vice Deans. At the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation contents in training and academic fields, and agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a sustainable cooperation framework, aiming to enhance the quality of training, research, and promote sustainable educational development.
️According to the agreement, the two units will promote activities such as: faculty exchange; supporting study abroad scholarships; student and graduate student exchange; organizing seminars; implementing joint research projects; sharing information; academic materials and expanding fields of cooperation of mutual interest.
️The signing ceremony not only contributes to strengthening international cooperation relations between the two units but also lays the foundation for forming an international Vietnamese studies research network, realizing the orientation of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities in expanding connections with training and research institutions for Vietnamese studies around the world.
