University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City works with Portcoast on digital transformation and digital space development cooperation

On the morning of September 17, 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City held a meeting with Portcoast Consultant Corporation (Portcoast) to discuss directions and opportunities for cooperation in the University's digital transformation.

Attending the meeting, on the side of the University were Dr. Phan Thanh Dinh – Vice President; Dr. Bui Thu Hang - Director of the Center for Information, Library and Museum; Dr. Vo Thi Huynh Nhu - Deputy Director of the Center; MSc. Vu Nguyen Anh - Deputy Director of the Center; Dr. Nguyen Vo Hoang Mai - Head of Administration and Equipment Department. On the side of Portcoast were Mr. Tran Tan Phuc – Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Tran Phuc Minh Quang - Vice Chairman.

At the meeting, representatives of the two units discussed and shared their orientations, needs, and potential for cooperation in the field of digital transformation. The discussion topics focused on applying technology to enhance management efficiency, exploiting and promoting the value of information resources, and gradually building a digital space ecosystem to serve the training, research, management, and community connection activities of the University.

In particular, the two sides also discussed the potential of applying digital technology in digitizing, storing, introducing, and promoting the value of cultural and historical heritage resources currently kept at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. This is considered one of the promising areas of cooperation, consistent with the University's strengths in the social sciences and humanities, while leveraging Portcoast's technological capacity and experience in building digital space solutions.

With an open, goodwill spirit and a focus on long-term cooperation, the two sides agreed to continue discussions to identify priority areas and gradually materialize cooperation opportunities in the coming time. The connection between a higher education institution with a rich tradition in social sciences and humanities and a technologically capable enterprise is expected to open up new directions in building a digital university environment and promoting heritage values through technology.

On this occasion, representatives of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Portcoast exchanged souvenirs, marking the beginning of the cooperative relationship between the two units.
