About us

HISTORY
The Library and Information Center of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) boasts a 60-year history of growth, its precursor was the University of Letters Library, a member of the University of Sai Gon (established in 1957). From 1997 to now, the library has been conducting computerization and serving in an open manner in order to allow staff, lecturers, postgraduates and students to easily access the library’s information resources. At present, the library holds an important role in improving the training quality of 29 Faculties and Departments.

CAMPUSES
The library offers similar services at two campuses: Dinh Tien Hoang and Thu Duc.
Campus 1 Library is located at 10-12 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1 with an area of 882 m² and 330 seats, including: Reading room, Textbook room, Check-out room, Periodical room, Data Lookup Room, Free Reading Room, Processing Room and Bibliographic Information Room.

Campus 2 Library, located at Quarter 6, Linh Trung Ward, Thu Duc District, provides the largest and comprehensive collection of books.

It covers a total area of 1.313 m² and has 540 seats. Furthermore, there are also additional rooms such as Korean Reference Reading Room (Window of Korea), Multimedia Room and Group Discussion Room.
