The library’s information resources are acquired and updated regularly based on the university’s disciplines with material types such as references, textbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias, theses, research reports, specialized journals, etc.
As of 30 september 2021, the library has 225.009 copies of books (corresponding to 103.882 titles); 73 journal titles and sub-titles, 571 magazine titles, bulletin, 303 thematic papers for research in all fields of Social Sciences and Humanities.
In addition, users can use 20 common online access databases of VNU-HCM's Library System such as: ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Spinger Link, Springer Open, Emerald, IG Publishing, MIT OCW, OECD, English language courses, Vietnam’s specialized e-journals, NASATI's Science and Technology Database, etc.
The library's information resources not only meet the increasing information needs of staff, lecturers, postgraduates and students but also draw attention of users outside the university.
In order to enhance the reading culture of the students, the library regularly organizes exhibitions of thematic material, contests related to books and libraries, etc. Particularly, the library organizes "The Readers' Meeting" yearly to receive feedback, answer questions regarding using the library as well as create a academic environment for students.
