Don't miss out on the ADL-UB Learning Exchange 2025

Nhà trường nhận được thông tin từ United Board (UB) về việc mời tham dự Chương trình Trao đổi Học tập ADL-UB 2025 với chủ đề: "Designing for Content, Coach and Community in an Age of Disruption". ADL là một sáng kiến của Viện Khoa học và Nghệ thuật về Dạy và Học Ateneo (Viện SALT) trực thuộc Trường Giáo dục và Thiết kế Học tập Gokongwei Brothers (GBSEALD). Khóa học trực tuyến này được phát triển nhằm đào tạo giảng viên Ateneo trong giai đoạn chuyển đổi sang giảng dạy trực tuyến. Hội nghị ADL-UB Learning Exchange 2025 lần đầu tiên được tổ chức nhằm kỷ niệm mối quan hệ đối tác giữa United Board và GBSEALD. Đây là cơ hội để chia sẻ và học hỏi về cách các nguyên lý ADL đã được điều chỉnh và áp dụng trong các bối cảnh khác nhau, đồng thời suy ngẫm về những thách thức và cơ hội khi tiếp tục thực thi các nguyên lý ấy ở hiện tại và tương lai. 

Chủ đề hội nghị nhấn mạnh một trong những nguyên lý cốt lõi của ADL: Content, Coach và Community là 3 thành tố then chốt trong học tập trực tuyến/kết hợp hiệu quả:
- Content: Thiết kế và thúc đẩy sự tương tác sinh động, hấp dẫn giữa người học và nội dung bài giảng;
- Coach: Thiết kế và hỗ trợ các tương tác ý nghĩa giữa người học và giảng viên;
- Community: Tạo điều kiện cho các cơ hội học tập chung giữa sinh viên.

Hội nghị sẽ có sự tham dự của Fr. Johnny Go, SJ, Hiệu trưởng sáng lập GBSEALD trình bày bài phát biểu chính với chủ đề: "Shaping the Future of ADL in the Age of Generative AI".

- Thời gian: 10/5/2025 (thứ Bảy);

- Thời lượng: 01 ngày, từ 12:00 đến 15:15 (giờ Philippines/Hồng Kông), từ 15:00 đến 18:15 (giờ Úc AEST), hoặc 9:30 sáng đến 12:45 trưa (giờ Ấn Độ IST).

Dear Colleagues,

 

We are pleased to invite you to the ADL-UB Learning Exchange 2025, on the theme, "Designing for Content, Coach and Community in an Age of Disruption." ADL is an initiative of the Ateneo SALT Institute (Institute of the Science and Art of Learning and Teaching) of the Gokongwei Brothers School of Education and Learning Design (GBSEALD). They developed this online course to train the Ateneo faculty during the shift to online teaching. Recognizing its value for teachers outside of the Ateneo system, the United Board asked that the ADL be offered to institutions in our network, to address the need to embed Whole Person Education in an online teaching environment.  

 

Hence, this inaugural ADL-UB Learning Exchange 2025 is a way of celebrating the partnership between the United Board and GBSEALD by bringing together the 200+ participants. It will be a time to share and learn about how the ADL principles have been contextualized and implemented in your respective contexts, and to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of continuing to apply them at present and in the future. In an age of disruption, how does designing for Content, Coach and Community remain vital for effective online and blended learning?  

 

The theme brings to mind one of the core ADL Principles of Content, Coach and Community, as 3 key ingredients of effective online/blended learning:

• Content: Designing and facilitating dynamic and engaging interactions between the learner and the content.
• Coach: Designing and facilitating meaningful interactions between the learner and the instructor.
• Community: Designing and facilitating opportunities for collaborative learning among students.

 

The conference will aim to feature best practices from within our community, and a keynote address from Fr. Johnny Go, SJ, Founding Dean of the GBSEALD, on "Shaping the Future of ADL in the Age of Generative AI."  

 

The 1-day online conference will be on May 10, 2025, Saturday, from 12:00 PM to 3:15 PM (PH/HK time)/3:00 PM to 6:15 PM (AEST)/9:30 AM to 12:45 PM (IST).
