Professor Rob Waring is one of the directors of the globally acclaimed Extensive Reading Foundation and is currently also a visiting lecturer at Thammasat University – one of the largest universities in Thailand. He received his Professor Emeritus title at Notre Dame Sheishin University (Japan) and has worked with us as both a keynote speaker and reviewer for ICELT 2024. He is now one of Adjunct Professors at the Faculty of English Linguistics & Literature (EF) under the VNU350 Project.
He is a renowned researcher in the field, with a range of publications and projects with universities and local organizations around the world. His field of interest is in extensive reading, second language acquisition, and reading culture. He has joined EF, looking to foster reading culture here in Vietnam in this era of digital literacy.
