CALL FOR PAPERS 6th International Conference on Tourism Development in Vietnam Tourism and Leisure in the New Era

Introduction

The tourism industry in Vietnam and worldwide has been recovering impressively after the COVID-19 pandemic, becoming a driver for the recovery of other economic sectors. The rapid recovery of the tourism industry is due to the return of domestic and international flights as well as the increase in travel demand. However, the pandemic has had a great impact on changes in human behaviour and travel and entertainment needs. New business models, product types and new types of tourism are born to meet changes in customer needs. To provide a forum for discussion on these important contemporary aspects in the field of tourism and entertainment, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality of the National Economics University will organise the 6th International Conference on Tourism Development in Vietnam with the theme "Tourism and Leisure in the new era".

The conference is a special section of the 7^th International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Economics, Management and Business (7^th CIEMB 2024) jointly organised by National Economics University (NEU) and Australian National University (ANU) in Hanoi, Vietnam. The conference aims to create a forum for scholars from different academic fields of economics, business and management to exchange and present their research.

Topics

We welcome papers both theoretically and empirically on topics in any field of tourism, leisure and events. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Tourism needs, consumption behaviour and tourist experience in the new context

• Emerging tourism and leisure business models

• Emerging types and products of tourism

• Challenges in destination management in the new context

• Emerging changes and requirements for human resources in the tourism and leisure

Submission

Full submitted papers must be in English, from 5000 to 10,000 words including references with title of the paper, authors’ names, e-mail addresses and affiliations. Prospective authors will submit their full papers to the email address: ciemb@neu.edu.vn by August 16, 2024. Registration Fee

The registration fee will include a welcome reception gathering, attending keynote speeches and all sessions, conference proceedings, certificates of presentation, lunch and gala dinner for 01 Author. At least one author of each paper must pay the registration fee.
