To effectively implement Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021, of the 12th Politburo on continuing to promote the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated June 15, 2016, of the Politburo on promoting the studying and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, aiming to continue making Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle permeate every official, Party member, union member, employee, and learner at USSH. The Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized the Flag-raising Ceremony and the Inauguration of the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space at the Thu Duc Campus, USSH, VNUHCM on January 15.

Attending the program, on the side of representatives from member universities of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, there were Prof. Dr. Le Minh Phuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council of the University of Technology; Dr. Ho Nhut Quang – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council of International University. On the side of the University, there were Dr. Le Thị Ngoc Diep – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the University Council; Dr. Phan Thanh Dinh – Deputy Secretary, Vice President; Dr. Le Hoang Dung – Vice President, along with representatives of the leadership of various offices, faculties, and Party members and students of the University.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Thi Ngoc Diep, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the University Council, shared: “In the context of building and developing the city's human culture associated with building the Ho Chi Minh cultural space and on the practical basis of a specific unit. The University has built the Ho Chi Minh cultural space, focusing on the following main tasks:
- Developing a specialized webpage “Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space”;
- Organizing propaganda activities for the “Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space”;
- Building an electronic library, collecting documents, books, publications, and materials about President Ho Chi Minh.

She hoped that by choosing cyberspace as a main form to implement the construction of the Ho Chi Minh cultural space, the electronic information portal “Ho Chi Minh – The Most Beautiful Name” would easily reach many different audiences

Within the framework of the program, the University organized a flag-raising ceremony at the Thu Duc Campus and the first-quarter flag-raising session of 2024 with the content: “Activities of the Youth Voice Club and the importance of equipping students with theoretical skills in the current context.”

The organization of the flag-raising ritual and the weekly Monday session at the Thu Duc Campus aims to propagate, educate, and raise awareness and responsibility for Party members, officials, employees, and learners and students about educating the spirit of patriotism, national pride, and self-respect; the spirit of serving the Fatherland and serving the people; studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle.
