In July 2023, Deakin University created a site to connect with parents and students by setting up a Vietnamese website.
Studying abroad is an important decision in students' lives. Coming to a foreign country, being far away from their hometown, surely the students as well as their families can not help but feel uneasy. Recognizing this, Deakin University, Australia has launched several websites that compile the necessary information for parents and students to look into and carefully prepare before entering Deakin University.
The website is detailed and comprehensive, including important information such as Deakin University's achievements, student satisfaction, accommodation options, career support programs, costs, scholarships, health support,... and an explicit guide for parents, caregivers, and families. In addition, there are short articles on a variety of topics such as living in Victoria state facilities, club activities, handbooks, and many short videos to provide more insights for parents and students.
