On September 24, 2026, the USSH-VNUHCM held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with DYM Vietnam Co., Ltd. at Room A.001, Saigon Campus. The partnership focuses on training, practical experience, internships and human resource development, particularly in Japanese Studies and digital transformation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Van Quyet, Vice President of USSH-VNUHCM, highlighted the University's large student and academic community, including approximately 20,000 students, graduate students and PhD candidates, as well as around 1,000 faculty members. Within the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Japanese Studies has a long history of development and attracts a large number of learners, providing a strong foundation for closer cooperation with Japanese businesses.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Van Quyet also emphasized digital transformation as an area of growing importance in the University's education and development strategies. Beyond administrative operations, digital transformation is increasingly integrated into learning models and training programs. He noted that the University's educational resources and human capital, combined with DYM Vietnam's expertise and practical experience in digital technology, could provide a foundation for developing practical training and cooperation programs.
