On the afternoon of September 16, 2021, the Admissions Council of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, City. Ho Chi Minh City has announced the benchmark method for using high school graduation exam scores in 2021. Accordingly, the benchmark admission score ranges from 21.00 to 27.90 points.
According to this result, the method of using high school graduation exam scores in 2021 has increased compared to 2020. Industries with a combination of admission subjects with a standard score of 24.00 or higher are 33/41 industry codes (accounting for 80%). The Multimedia Communication industry D15 has the highest standard score with 27.9 points. The total number of admission combinations in majors with benchmark scores of 24.00 or higher is 91/123 (accounting for 74%).
The 15 majors with the highest standard score combination, from 26.00 include: Multimedia (D14, D15 - 27.90 points), Journalism (C00 - 27.80 points), English Language (D01 - 27.20 points), Language China (D01 - 27.00 points), Travel and tourism service management (C00 - 27.00 points), International relations (D14 - 26.90 points), Office administration (C00 - 26.90 points), Journalism - CLC(D14,C00 - 26.80 points), English Language - CLC (D01 - 26.70 points), International Relations - CLC (D14 - 26.60 points), Psychology (D14 - 26.60 points), Korean Studies (D14 - 26.45 points), Chinese Language - CLC (D01 - 26.30 points), Japanese Studies (D14 - 26.10 points), Information Management (C00 - 26.00 points).
The benchmark score in 2021 increases from 1 to 2 points compared to 2020 depending on the industry. This year's benchmark scores show that candidates admitted to the school are all students with mainly good, good, and excellent academic performance at the high school level; consistent with the reality that the quality of training at the school as well as social demand for the social sciences and humanities is at a high level.

Successful candidates will confirm their admission before 5:00 p.m. on September 26, 2021. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, regulations on admission/enrollment confirmation timelines for each faculty/subject may change (according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and VNU-HCM).
