The university announced the 2022 Fall Semester Scholarship Program at Kyushu University, Japan. Specific information is as follows:

I. Program Information:

Applicants can apply for one of four programs: (1) School, (2) Graduate School, (3) Japan in Today's World (JTW) and (4) Japanese Language and Culture Courses (JLCC). Applicants are exempted from tuition fees as agreed between Kyushu University and Ho Chi Minh City National University. Ho Chi Minh.

1. School and Graduate School Programs:

- Duration: 01 academic year (from October to September of the following year) or 01 semester (from October to March of the following year);

- Language: Japanese or English (the course is in English please refer to https://www.isc.kyushu-u.ac.jp/intlweb/en/student/english );

- Selection criteria: candidates are graduate students or PhD students who have completed at least 01 years of study, academic GPA 3.2/4 .0, with a certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency N1, TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.0 or higher.

2. JTW program (student exchange):

- Duration: 01 semester (from October to February) or 01 semester (from October to February);

- Language: English;

- Selection criteria: candidates are full-time students in the second year or more, with an academic average of 3.2/4.0, TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.0.

3. JLCC Program:

- Duration: 01 academic year (from October to August).

- Language: Japanese

- Refer to the website: http://isc.kyushu-u.ac.jp/jtw/program

- Selection criteria: candidates are full-time students in the second year or more, with an average academic score of 3.2/4 .0, a certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency N2 or higher.

II. Application for the Program: (in English or Japanese)

- Certified English transcript and certificate of how to convert 4.0 scale

- Letter of nomination (handwritten signature);

- Notarized transcripts (English or Japanese);

- A copy of the passport;

- A copy of proof of foreign language proficiency in English or Japanese;

- Study plan (for candidates who want to convert credits; JTW program candidates are not required);

- Research plan (for candidates participating in research programs);

- Copy of undergraduate degree (for Graduate School applicants)

In addition, JTW program participants must submit:

- 01 nomination letter from the Dean or Lecturer (02 letters in total);

- 01 essay of 800 – 1000 words on the topic "Why JTW For Me and My Goals";

- 01 independent study plan proposal (if any);

- 01 empirical research proposal (if any).

Applicants are exempt from tuition fees and must cover all other costs on their own.

dossier (paper and soft copy format in 01 pdf file) and nomination letter from the faculty/ department, please send to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Scientific Management via email address hienthuong@hcmussh.edu.vn before 11:00 on December 31, 2021 for JTW and JLCC programs and before 11:00 on January 10, 2022.
