Announcement of Kyushu University’s scholarship program, Japan

On October 7, 2020, the University announced to the faculties and departments about the Spring 2021 semester scholarship program with Kyushu University, Japan the following information:

Applicants can apply for one of two programs: (1) School and Graduate School, (2) Japan in Today’s World (JTW). Applicants are exempt from tuition fees as agreed between Kyushu University and National University of Ho Chi Minh City.

1. School and Graduate School

- Time: 01 academic year (from April 2021 to March 2022) or 01 semester (from April to September 2021);

- Courses are mainly taught in Japanese and courses taught in English will depend on the number of students registered;

- Selection criteria: Candidates who are Master or PhD students, have completed at least 01 academic year, at least GPA 3.2/4, N1 Japanese Language Ability Certificate, TOEFL iВТ 79 or IELTS 6.0 or higher.

2. JTW Program (student exchange)

- Time: 01 semester (From April to July 2021);

- Language: English;

- Selection criteria: Candidates are full-time students in year two or higher, GPA from 3.2/4 or higher, TOEFL iВТ from 79 or IELTS 6.0.
