The alumni outcome of Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) ranks 193 in the world.


According to the QS Graduate Employability Ranking (QS GER) 2022, VNU-HCM maintains its rank in the 301-500 band among the top 786 higher education institutions from 78 countries. This is the 4th year in a row that VNU-HCM has appeared in the rankings.
In particular, VNU-HCM holds the 193rd position in the Top 200 in the world, up 4 places against 2021.
With encouraging results as the Vietnamese representative to be ranked in top 301-500 by QS GER 2022, VNU-HCM has proven the quality of education (based on successful alumni) and research (based on international publication collaboration with multinationals).
The QS Graduate Employability Rankings was first conducted by London-based Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) in 2015. This ranking is intended to provide more detailed information on the relationship between the university, business and graduates. QS GER assesses the quality and employability of students after graduation based on five criteria: Employer reputation (accounting for 30% of total score), Alumni outcomes (25%), Partnerships with Employers per Faculty (25%), Employer/Student Connections (10%) and Graduate employment rate (10%).
QS GER 2022 collected data is based on the analysis of more than 75,000 employers' responses, over 40,800 degrees of more than 29,000 successful people, more than 170,000 interactions of employers and graduates, and up to 310,000 recruitments.
