Afternoon Mar.24, USSH and VNU-HCMC delegation welcomed the Sunwah Group delegation to USSH. This event has opened up new chances for scientific development and creative innovation.

On the occasion, the delegation visited the Information Technology Park (VNU-ITP), VNU-HCMC Urban Area, and the under-construction B4 building in USSH.

In his opening remarks, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vũ Hải Quân said “VNU-HCMC highly appreciates Sunwah’s support to promote creative innovation in Việt Nam. We are looking forward to keeping up the good work with Sunwah Group in the future.” The director of VNU also presented future development plans, in both scale and infrastructure: upgrading the School of Medicine (VNU-HCMC) to the University of Health, expanding dormitories facilities, etc.

Regarding the direction of cooperation with Sunwah, USSH hopes to work with Sunwah Group to provide a creative environment that encourages startups, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngô Thị Phương Lan shared. She further highlighted that the two parties share the same focus on human subjects research and developing social sciences and humanities.
Mr. Jesse Choi, the representative from Sunwah Group, underscored: “Technological innovation and social sciences and humanities innovation should go hand-in-hand to best serve humanity”. He also anticipates visiting other units in VNU-HCMC to introduce them to partners in Hong Kong, Macao, China, etc.
