Tree planting activity and Opening Ceremony for 2023-2024 Academic Year

On September 21, the USSH, VNU - HCM, held the Opening Ceremony of the 2023-2024 Academic Year, and undertook the tree planting activity at the university campus.

The University was honored to welcome the delegation: Mr. Truong Hoa Binh - Former Politburo member and former Standing Deputy Prime Minister; Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; and Mr. Nguyen Kim Son - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Education and Training, along with the participation of leaders and former leaders of the State and Ministries, Departments, Sectors and the Central Government in the tree planting ceremony in the Sunshine Lake area.

The tree planting activity is one of the first activities to promote the green lifestyle and raise awareness of environmental protection among USSH lecturers and students, as part of the "Green University" program launched in 2019 with the cooperation of the authorities in committing to sustainable development.
