Announcement and awarding ceremony of student scientific research for the academic year 2022-2023: The Faculty of Library and Information Science is "rising" strongly

On the morning of January 12, 2024, the ceremony of announcing and awarding student scientific research in the academic year 2022-2023 was solemnly held at the Humanities Hall – Thu Duc Campus. 

Continuing the tradition from previous academic years, the Faculty of Library and Information Science received many high-level awards from the University, including 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 1 Consolation Prize. 

These rewards are timely recognition of the Faculty's student scientific research activities, according to Dr. Tran Anh Tien – Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Science Management said: "The Faculty of Library and Information Science is "rising" strongly".

The scientific research groups of the Faculty are honored as follows: 

• Second Prize: The student group includes Le Nhu Y (leader), Nguyen Thi Thanh Ngan, Nguyen Pham Thuy Trang and Nguyen Chuc Ny with the topic "Digital transformation of human resources in the library system of general education institutions in Di An City, Binh Duong Province". Scientific Research Instructors: MA. Nguyen Phuong Duy.
• Third Prize: The student group includes Pham Thi Diem Han (leader), Dang Thi Kim Ngan, Vu Thanh Binh, Hoang Nhat Quynh and Pham Nu Thuc Oanh with the topic "Current status of digital health information literacy of students of University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM". Scientific Research Instructors: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Huyen.
• Consolation Prize: The student group includes Dao Nguyen Xuan Quynh (leader), Nguyen Le Phuong Hang, Kieu Phan Khanh Linh and Vu Thuy Trang with the topic "Self-study capacity of students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM". Scientific Research Instructors: Dr. Ninh Thi Kim Thoa.

Also at the ceremony of announcing and awarding scientific research to students in the academic year 2022-2023, three lecturers of the Faculty of Library and Information Science were honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Rector for lecturers guiding the topic with the award at the University level: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Huyen, Dr. Ninh Thi Kim Thoa, MA. Nguyen Phuong Duy.

Rewarding lecturers for instructing scientific research projects with university-level awards

The academic year 2022-2023 is the third year that groups of scientific research students continue to receive high awards. 

It is hoped that these achievements will create strong motivation among the faculty's students to participate in scientific research activities in the following academic years.
