The Faculty of Geography successfully organized the Student Scientific Research Conference in the 2023-2024 school year
Within the Student Scientific Research Week 2023-2024 school year of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM, the Faculty of Geography organized a scientific research defence session for students on the morning of May 24, 2024.
The conference is an annual activity organized by the Faculty of Geography, which includes the participation of all lecturers and nearly 100 faculty students. This year, 20 university-level studies were carried out by the Faculty of Geography students, including the fields of economics-regional development, population-society, environment, remote sensing, and geographic information systems. The studies are presented in 4 Councils. The students reported their research results and heard valuable comments from Council members. The scientific research defence session is an opportunity for the Faculty of Geography students to improve their knowledge and scientific bravery and become more confident in their upcoming academic path.
After evaluating the students' research, the Council will propose topics for the City (Eureka Award), VNU-HCM, and Ministerial level. The results will be announced on the faculty's website on June 3, 2024.
