Ukraine's Foreign Policy from 1991 to Present: Experiences and Lessons for Vietnam in Relations with Major Powers (Author: Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Anh Tuan)

The book analyzes and presents the evolution of Ukraine's foreign policy since its independence (1991) to the present, decoding the causes and impacts of the special military operation that Russia has been implementing there since February 24, 2022. On that basis, the author reflects and suggests lessons for Vietnam's foreign policy to maintain domestic political and security stability, properly handle relations with major powers, and firmly protect independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. The author emphasizes that, in the vortex of power politics with increasing geo-strategic competition among major powers, medium and small countries like Vietnam increasingly need to orient their conduct to best protect national interests.
