USSH Signs MoU with Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Corporation: Collaborating to Foster Educational and Cultural Values

On the morning of March 12, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM), officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Corporation. The event marked a significant step forward in strengthening the bridge between academia and enterprise, while also opening up new opportunities to promote cultural, historical, and creative values in the context of sustainable development.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Phan Thanh Dinh, Vice President of USSH, emphasized that the partnership not only marks a pivotal milestone in the relationship between USSH and Suoi Tien, but also paves the way for collaborative opportunities in research, cultural preservation, and knowledge transfer. He stated, “Learning should not be confined within the classroom—it must be expanded through real-world experiences that help students gain deeper insights into their professions, communities, and business.” Guided by its educational philosophy of “Whole person – Liberal – Multicultural Education,” USSH is committed to creating conditions for students to engage with practical experiences, hone their skills, and foster creative thinking.
Highlighting the cooperation potential, Dr. Phan Thanh Dinh shared that the collaboration would bring about various practical programs such as student exchanges, media events, academic seminars, as well as initiatives to preserve and promote cultural and historical values. “Through this partnership,” he expressed, “students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice and contribute to the community with high-impact initiatives.”

The collaboration between USSH and Suoi Tien Theme Park represents the convergence of academic knowledge and practical experience, bridging academic foundations with a distinctive cultural-tourism environment. As a leading institution in social sciences and humanities, USSH continues to seek partnerships that bring knowledge beyond the classroom and into real life, empowering students with practical exposure, skills development, and intellectual growth.
Meanwhile, Suoi Tien stands not only as a premier tourism destination but also as a guardian of national history and cultural values. The collaboration between a long-standing educational institution and a dynamic cultural-tourism enterprise not only offers students opportunities to gain experiential learning but also drives innovation in the development of Vietnam’s cultural and tourism sectors.
According to the agreement, the two sides will collaborate across several key areas:
