On the afternoon of August 1, 2025, at the Y.A1 Administrative Building, representatives from the Faculty of Psychology, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the University of Health Sciences held a working session to exchange and discuss the development of an inter-school training program in the field of Clinical Psychology.
The two sides shared their development orientations, professional strengths, networks of hospitals for teaching and practising, as well as experiences in training and scientific research. The connection between the medical and health sciences professional unit with a deep foundation in social sciences and humanities has promoted the combined strength of the VNU-HCM system, opening up the potential to build a breakthrough and pioneering education program.
The meeting took place in an open and hopeful atmosphere. The two sides agreed to continue to maintain close coordination and organise more in-depth exchanges to gradually develop an inter-university education project. The general goal is to train human resources with an integrated knowledge base in various fields, with sufficient capacity to meet the increasing demands of society; especially in the context of the health and education sectors increasingly needing intervention from the field of Psychology to improve treatment effectiveness, improve the quality of life as well as the comprehensive development of people.
