On the morning of August 8, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City held a signing ceremony of an MOU with TASUC Group, Japan. The event aims to promote cooperation in training, internships and student recruitment in the fields of education and social work between the two units.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Luu Van Quyet, Vice Rector of the University, affirmed that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM is one of the pioneers in training humanities majors, including Japanese Studies, Social Work, and Psychology. He hopes that this cooperation will help students combine theory with practice, access specialized training programs, thereby expanding international career opportunities. More importantly, the cooperation will contribute to enhancing understanding and promoting the Vietnam-Japan friendship through practical activities.
Mr. Saito Ukai, Chairman of TASUC Group, said that the unit highly appreciates the capacity of Vietnamese students. He emphasized that TASUC wishes to accompany the University in training and developing human resources, especially in the field of social work. At the same time, he shared about the actual needs in Japan and committed to coordinate to organize training programs to grant international certificates, thereby creating conditions for students to develop their expertise and access the Japanese labor market.
According to the signed MOU, the two sides will jointly implement: internship programs for students; recruitment programs to work in Japan; intensive training programs in Japan and seminars - professional training programs.

TASUC Group (abbreviation for Total Approach Support Union for Challenged children and Their Families) is a pioneer organisation in the field of special education and comprehensive development support for children with developmental disorders such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disorders... The Group was established and developed in Japan. TASUC currently owns a system of educational centres in many localities and is expanding its international activities in Vietnam.
