Faculty and Student Clubs meeting for the 2025-2026 school year

On the morning of August 25, 2025, at the CPAR meeting room, Linh Xuan Campus, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Faculty of Psychology held a meeting of the Student Club at the beginning of the new school year. This was an opportunity for the Faculty Board, teachers and student representatives to discuss orientations, agree on action plans, and prepare for important events in the 2025-2026 school year.

Representing the Faculty Board, Head of the Faculty of Psychology, Dr. Le Thi Mai Lien, opened the opening with the Faculty's orientation in the new school year, emphasizing the three core values ​​of "Connection - Diversity - Empathy". She said that the Faculty will promote research, increase activities related to the field of study, expand cooperation domestically and internationally, and prepare for the 20th anniversary of its establishment. Other focuses include organizing community service projects, developing alumni networks, forming specialized research groups, and adjusting the curriculum toward liberal arts and enhancing interdisciplinary skills for students.

MSc. Lam Hoang Duc shared about student affairs in the new school year. He emphasized the implementation of the ISWAC (Knowledge, Society, Happiness, Arts, Career) learner collaboration framework, and at the same time re-implemented the "Iceberg" academic competition of the Faculty of Psychology. To ensure consistent communication of information, the Faculty also proposed that each class maintain an official communication channel between the academic advisor and the executive board. He also informed about the plan to restore volunteer teams such as "Sharing Bees" and "Psychology Team", which are closely linked to the strengths and unique identities of Psychology students.

In terms of communication, Dr. Pham Kim Anh proposed directions to improve the Faculty's media image and build a curriculum according to international standards, more closely linked to professional needs and academic cooperation. Next, MSc. Le Thach Dang Hung introduced the communication plan and the renovation of the Faculty's website, with the goal of not only being an information channel but also becoming a rich repository of academic materials, with academic publications such as handbooks, notebooks, ebooks, yearbooks and community service products to serve learners and society.

In the section on scientific research, MSc. Le Nguyen Son Tung presented a specific roadmap for the Student Scientific Research Workshop. The process of developing topics and scientific research outlines will last from the date of announcement until May of the following year, before submitting a summary report to the School in June.

Along with the study and research orientations, movement activities are also focused on. The meeting announced the plan to organize the Mental Health Week 2025 from October 7 to 13, with many diverse activities such as exhibitions, therapy bells, seminars, club activities and a closing performance forum night. In addition, annual events such as the Welcome to New Students and the 20/11 Gratitude Ceremony are also being carefully prepared, promising to bring many memorable experiences to students of the entire Faculty.

During the meeting, the atmosphere became more exciting thanks to the exchanges between students and the Faculty Board. Questions revolving around scientific research and graduation theses were specifically answered, at the same time opening up proposals for improvement to better support students. The meeting ended in an open spirit, unifying the direction and creating motivation for a new school year with many expectations for innovation.
