The Faculty of Psychology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (USSH, VNU-HCM) announces the organization of a series of activities to raise awareness and spread mental health, in response to World Mental Health Day (WMHD) October 10, 2025.
The Organizing Committee and student clubs and teams of the Faculty will organize a variety of activities such as a psychology creative idea contest, psychology exhibitions and experiences, and international seminars to raise awareness of mental health for students, employees, and businesses in the context of social and economic fluctuations and the transition into a new era of Vietnam.
TIME AND LOCATION: From September 20, 2025 to November 20, 2025 at CPAR Center (Building B1) and Humanities Hall, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM (Linh Xuan Campus).
PARTICIPANTS: Staff, lecturers and students of University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM, and organizations, managers and business leaders, experts, researchers, and individuals interested in the event.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Symposium on “Mental Health: the journey from individuals to organizations” with three (3) topics focusing on the main theme of WMH 2025 “Mental Health at Work”, reported by Speakers who are senior leaders from multinational corporations and Dr. Nicolass Routine, GS. Human Resources Organizational Psychology (I/O Psychology), Saint Mary's University (Canada).
The "Creative Ideas in Psychology" contest aims to spread the spirit of creativity, applying knowledge of Psychology to organizational practice, work, and life.
Experiencing activities of meditation and mindfulness, yoga, experiencing emotions and connecting with oneself. Exhibition of products on mental health by lecturers and students of the Faculty of Psychology, and units registered to participate in the event.
