On Sep 9, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (USSH, VNU-HCM) had a meeting with Chihlee University of Science and Technology, opening up opportunities for joint training, research, and cultural exchange.
From Chihlee University of Science and Technology, participants included Prof. Dr. Yang-Ya Tang, Vice President and Head of Academic Affairs; Prof. Dr. Lin-Kuo Jung, Vice President and Head of Research & Development; along with department heads and specialists. From USSH, VNU-HCM were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lưu Văn Quyết, Vice Rector, and representatives from central offices and the Faculties of Oriental Studies, Journalism & Communication, Vietnamese Studies, and Tourism.

Within the session, USSH, VNU-HCM and Chihlee held discussions on developing Vietnamese-language programs; faculty exchanges; cultural exchange activities; joint research; and implementing training programs on Vietnamese language and culture.

Chihlee representatives addressed questions during the event and affirmed long-term commitments. “I hope that exchanges between our students and faculty will strengthen the partnership between the two institutions and help cultivate young talents,” said Prof. Dr. Yang-Ya Tang.
