On the evening of January 17, 2026, before concluding their North-bound journey, the faculty and students of the International Relations major gathered for a cozy Gala Dinner. No matter how cold the night temperature in Hanoi was, it could not dampen the heat of the QH22-24 cohort that evening. Here, through youthful yet deep and meaningful "homemade" performances, students had the opportunity to showcase their enthusiasm as well as their individual talents and personalities.

Following the program was a summary clip of the trip, full of surprises, prepared in advance by the Gala organizing committee. As familiar images appeared one by one on the screen, the room seemed to quiet down. Each moment that once seemed so small - the smiles, the glances, the times wandering together - suddenly became very intimate and touching. The clip not only recalled the journey passed but also caused each student to quietly look back at the beautiful memories and the affection nurtured through each stage.

After watching the clip, Thuc Nghi - a student of International Relations, emotionally shared: “The trip is a very beautiful memory for me. Looking back on the journey, I clearly felt the efforts and dedication of the lecturers, which were truly rewarded by the constant support and companionship of the students. For me, the trip was even more special because I got to experience places that I don't always have the opportunity to visit with my university friends. After the trip, I was also surprised that I could talk and bond with friends whom I previously thought were very difficult to approach.” Tra My - a student of the QH22-24 cohort - could not hide her emotions, expressing that the footage in the summary clip touched her heart. In particular, the moment of watching the familiar attendance checks, which were both dear and funny, made her laugh with nostalgia, only to realize that those very simple details made for unforgettable memories of the whole trip.

Speaking at the program, lecturer Nguyen Tran Anh Thu - Head of the field trip delegation, representing the faculty, extended her thanks and acknowledged the efforts and sense of responsibility of the students throughout the “North-bound” journey. She highly appreciated the proactiveness, discipline, and unity of the group; besides that, she also hoped that the experiences from the trip would become valuable luggage, contributing to supporting students in their future studies and training.

In her speech, she also “revealed” a special gift prepared by the lecturers themselves. Immediately after, a surprise birthday party for students born in January contributed to “heating up” the atmosphere of the program, bringing exciting, warm, and meaningful moments. Nguyen Khang - one of the students with a January birthday - shared that he was truly surprised that the lecturers organized a birthday party, even investing in an interesting skit to make the party more memorable. “Although my name was initially missed, I was later called to the stage to celebrate with everyone. For me, that moment made me feel very happy and lucky because I not only celebrated my 20th birthday in a very special way but also shared that joy with my lecturers and friends” - Nguyen Khang said.
