On behalf of the Faculty of History and International Relations, the program was accompanied by Mr. Huynh Ho Dai Nghia and Mr. Mai Viet Khanh - Lecturers of the International Relations major, along with the participation of more than 40 students from the Faculty of History and International Relations.

Opening the program, Ms. Bui Chau Loan - Deputy Head of the Administrative Human Resources Department provided an overview of the formation and development process of the Vietcombank - Nam Sai Gon Branch, while sharing the five core cultural values that the unit pursues: “Trust - Standards - Readiness to Innovate - Sustainability - Humanism”. Through this, students gained more understanding of corporate culture as well as the bank's development orientation in the finance-banking sector.

Continuing the program, Mr. Dang Quoc Thang - Deputy Head of Retail Banking Department 1 introduced Vietcombank’s system of products and services for various customer groups. The presentation helped students better understand retail banking services for individual customers, as well as financial solutions for businesses. From there, students gained a perspective on how a bank builds products and services to meet the diverse needs of customers.

The exchange session with the representatives took place vibrantly with many questions from students surrounding job opportunities in the banking sector, career development orientation for fresh graduates, and issues related to finance and banking. The direct exchanges at the program helped students broaden their understanding of the real working environment, while also gaining more perspectives on the requirements and career opportunities in this field.

Within the framework of the program, Mr. Mai Viet Khanh - Lecturer of the International Relations major, sent his thanks to the unit for creating conditions for students to have the opportunity to directly visit and learn about the working environment and activities of the bank. At the same time, he shared that career opportunities are not necessarily limited by the major of study, but also depend on the initiative and learning spirit of each student.

Closing the program, students were able to visit the working space of the departments and divisions of the Branch and learn more about the activities of each unit. Through this activity, many students expressed that the program had provided more practical perspectives on the finance-banking environment. Visiting directly, listening to sharing, and exchanging with Vietcombank representatives also helped them visualize more clearly the diversity of positions and jobs in this field, discover more career opportunities, and gain more motivation to actively explore future directions.

The Faculty of History and International Relations would like to express our gratitude to the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) - Nam Sai Gon Branch in Ho Chi Minh City for the thoughtful reception, along with practical and valuable sharing for the students of the Faculty. The field trip not only helped students understand more deeply about the finance-banking sector but also opened up opportunities to connect with the professional environment, thereby gaining more direction for the process of studying, training, and developing in the future.
