The university would like to announce information regarding the Fulbright Scholarship Programs for the 2027-2028 academic year. Detailed information is as follows:
1. Fulbright Visiting Student Researcher Program 2027-2028
- General information: The Fulbright Visiting Student Researcher (VSR) Program is implemented by the U.S. Mission Vietnam, aimed at doctoral students in Science and Technology fields in Vietnam to conduct research at U.S. universities for 6-10 months during the 2027-2028 academic year.
- Quantity: Up to 05 full scholarships/year.
- Benefits:
+ Monthly living stipend;
+ Health insurance during the stay in the United States;
+ Round-trip airfare between Vietnam and the United States.
- Requirements:
+ Vietnamese citizens, residing in Vietnam throughout the application process;
+ Possess a Master's degree;
+ Currently enrolled in a doctoral program in Science and Technology in Vietnam (not yet completed before or during the VSR period);
+ Meet English proficiency requirements (TOEFL iBT, IELTS, Duolingo, TOEFL Essentials, etc.);
+ Commitment to returning to Vietnam after completing the program;
+ Priority is given to candidates with strong research records and little or no recent experience in the United States.

2. Fulbright Master's Scholarship Program 2027-2028
- General information: The Fulbright Master's Scholarship Program is implemented by the U.S. Mission Vietnam (under the Fulbright Program, established in 1946) to enhance mutual understanding between Vietnam and the United States through educational exchange.
- Quantity: Approximately 20 full scholarships/year.
- Benefits:
+ Full tuition waiver;
+ Monthly living stipend;
+ Health insurance support;
+ Round-trip airfare between Vietnam and the United States.
- Requirements:
+ Vietnamese citizens (must not hold dual citizenship; candidates must reside in Vietnam throughout the application process);
+ University graduates;
+ At least 2 years of work experience after graduation;
+ Meet English requirements: TOEFL iBT ≥ 80, IELTS ≥ 6.5, TOEFL Essentials ≥ 8.5, or Duolingo ≥ 110.
- Fields of study:
+ Most fields of study are supported;
+ Not applicable to: medicine, dentistry, and nursing.
