On December 1, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (USSH-VNUHCM), held a meeting with the University of Perugia to discuss expanding cooperation in Italian language education and related academic activities.
The University of Perugia delegation included Prof. Valerio De Cesaris, Rector; Giovanna Scocozza, Vice Rector for International Relations; Valentina Seri, Head of the International Office; Roberta Rondoni from the CELI certification center; and Stefania Scaglione from the Erasmus Center.
Representing USSH were Dr. Phan Thanh Dinh, Vice President, along with leaders of the Office of External Relations and Science Management, the Faculty of European Languages and Cultures (Italian Studies), and the Foreign Language Center.

Dr. Phan Thanh Dinh thanked the University of Perugia for providing scholarships that allow USSH students to study in Italy and deepen their understanding of Italian language and culture. He noted that the meeting was an opportunity for both institutions to review cooperation and explore further collaboration.

Prof. Valerio De Cesaris emphasized that stronger cooperation would create more international learning opportunities for students, while encouraging broader participation in study programs in Italy, including self-funded students.

Regarding cooperation in Italian language certification, Dr. Le Hong Phuoc stated that the Faculty of European Languages and Cultures is ready to support teaching and hopes to further discuss organizing international Italian language certification.
