Announcement on student exchange program with Jissen Women's University, Japan for Fall semester 2026

Dear students, 

The university would like to announce information regarding the student exchange program with Jissen Women's University, Japan for the Fall semester of 2026 as follows:

1. Eligibility
- Full-time students from the second year onwards with excellent academic performance;
- Proficiency in Japanese or English suitable to the program's requirements.
2. Duration (tentative)
From September 2026 to January 2027.
3. Costs
Students are exempted from tuition fees when participating in the program and must cover other expenses themselves.
4. Quantity
Each faculty may nominate a maximum of 01 student.
5. Curriculum
- Advanced Track (Japanese): for students with Japanese proficiency of JLPT N2 or higher, including major courses and general education courses (all courses are credit-bearing);
- Advanced Track (English): for students with English proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) B1 or equivalent or higher. The curriculum includes: “Bridging the Gap: Communication Across Language Proficiencies” course (compulsory, non-credit-bearing), courses on “Global Studies” and several major courses taught in English (compulsory, credit-bearing), and advanced Japanese courses (elective, non-credit-bearing);
- Entry Track: for students with English proficiency (CEFR) from A2 or equivalent or higher, or Japanese JLPT N3 - N5 or equivalent. The curriculum includes: advanced Japanese (elective, non-credit-bearing), English courses under the general education curriculum of the Center for Language and Culture Education (compulsory, credit-bearing).
6. Application documents
- Program application form (as per template);
- Program participation agreement (as per template);
- Health certificate (as per template);
- Statement of purpose and study plan (in Japanese or English);
- Proof of financial support (in English);
- Academic transcript of all semesters (in English);
- Certificate of Eligibility (CoE) (as per template);
- Copy of valid passport information page;
- ID photo;
- TB Clearance Certificate.
- Copy of foreign language proficiency certificates:
+ For Advanced Track (Japanese): JLPT N2, EJU 200 points, BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test 400 points, J-TEST 600 (A–C level test) or Japanese NAT-TEST Level 2 or higher;
+ For Advanced Track (English): CEFR B1 or higher;
+ For Entry Track: CEFR A2 or JLPT N3-N5.
